「托福」  (簡介)

認證簡介

「托福」測驗 (Test of English as a Foreign Language, TOEFL®) 由美國教育測驗服務社( Educational Testing Service, ETS®) 在全世界舉辦。托福測驗測試母語非英語者之英語能力，如果您想申請入學美加地區大學或研究所，「托福」成績單將可能是必備文件之一。 「托福」網路測驗(TOEFL-iBT)是經由網際網路方式進行，測驗項目包含:閱讀(Reading)、聽力(Listening)、口說(Speaking)及寫作(Writing)。每項分數30分，總分120分。 每個項目至少需作答一題才計分，寫作只能以打字方式完成。

托福測驗於1964開始施測，主要為評量英語非母語人士在英語系國家之大學校園使用英語的能力，做為外籍學生申請英語系國家大學及研究所之入學許可之語言能力證明。由於托福測驗是全球公認的英語能力檢定國際標準，故其分數也同時做為申請移民、證照、獎學金或英語能力分級之用。

目前在全球130個國家、超過9,000所學校與機構所使用托福測驗的成績做為學生入學標準，不但美國前100大的大學全部接受托福測驗成績，幾乎所有美國、加拿大、英國及澳洲的大學都接受托福成績做為新生入學標準。


考試內容

閱讀測驗：約有3-5篇文章，測驗時間約60-100分鐘。聽力測驗：講演4-6篇，對話2-3段，測驗時間約60-90分鐘。口說測驗：口說測驗共6題，每個題目都須在規定的時間內完成回答，測驗時間20分鐘。有2種題型：一種是聽一段對話或演說後再做回答；另一種是整合式題型- 先看一篇文章再聽一段說明或對話，然後請考生回答。寫作測驗：有2種題型：整合式題型- 先看一篇文章再聽一段說明或對話後，寫一篇相關的文章。測驗時間20分鐘。另一種則就一個題目寫一篇文章。測驗時間30分鐘。
